Stone Soup - The Folktale
Once upon a time there was a famine in a village.

One day an old woman went from house to house inviting her neighbors over for some Stone Soup.

A neighbor asks the old woman what stone soup is. The old woman replies "I put a magic stone in a pot of water."
Her neighbors were touched by her kindness.

The neighbors offer to bring an ingredient for the soup.
 That's how it went all day. That night the whole village enjoyed a nutritious soup.

In the foreground, the old woman smiles as she stirs a large pot. In the background, the villages sit at a table and eat.
...and there was enough of the magic stone left over for another meal.
